Emotional health is an integral part of human health because there is a close connection between mind and body. Powerful emotions, a normal part of life, can have significant impact on heath: pleasure can enhance the production of beneficial endorphins, while anger can release harmful stress hormones to increase heart rate and muscle tension.
Are you healthy? Do you have the ability to deal with powerful negative emotions?
The ability of an individual to deal with powerful negative emotions depends on the following:

Breathe slowly to diffuse your anger.

Walk away from a provocative situation.

Use yoga to relax your body and mind.

Are you healthy? Do you know anger management?
Anger is one of the most difficult emotions to handle, and one of the most devastating to emotional health. Anger is aggresion expressed in hostility with violent outbursts that reinforce inappropriate behavior and provoke unconstructive response from others.
But there is righteous anger, as demonstrated by Jesus when He drove money lenders and merchants out of His temple (Matthew 21:12-14). However, according to Aristotle, righteous anger is not easy: "Anybody can become angry, that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way, that is not within everybody’s power, that is not easy."
The bottom line: you need good anger management:
Are you healthy? Do you hold grudges?
Be forgiving: do not hold any grudge against anyone. Buddha said: "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."
The mind is everything: what is on your mind is what you become. As Buddha said: "You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger."
Forgiving is not easy. Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher, once said: "It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things work. All good things are difficult to achieve, and bad things are easy to get."
Forgiving means not looking back in anger. Forgiving is the best anger management.
Are you healthy? Do you have negative emotions?
Negative emotions, such as low self-esteem, play havoc with emotional health. One needs to feel good about oneself so as to be able to make important life decisions with confidence to live with the consequences of those decisions. Lack of self-esteem leads to indecision, procrastination, and worry about the what-ifs of life. Success in life or in any endeavor is the benchmark of how good you are -- or how good you feel about yourself. Success begins with self-confidence, which builds self-esteem.
To avoid negative emotions about self, focus on the following:
Are you healthy? Do you have healthy relationships?
Satisfying relationships mean healthy love relationships with spouse, children, and family, as well as harmonious relationships with co-workers and people around you. Healthy relationships are important to emotional health.
Enjoy Being You
Everyone has a unique range of capabilities, known and latent. Develop and express your individuality to enhance your esteem, your sense of self-worth for emotional health.
